Joshua Richard Akacha is a prospective graduate student interested in studying the impacts of pollutants, including cyanotoxins, pharmaceuticals, agricultural runoff, fertilizers, and heavy metals, on aquatic systems (oceans, rivers, lakes, and wetlands). He also aim to investigate how these chemicals and pollutants affect ecosystem health, biodiversity, and the overall resilience of these systems.
